      Objectives

      To assess how frequently and adequately information relating to child protection considerations is documented and considered by doctors assessing infants aged <1 year with head injuries in a paediatric emergency department (ED), and to determine the effect of introducing a reminder “tick box” into the notes, coupled with a contemporaneous improved education programme of child protection awareness.
