Failed to attend ENT clinic appointments made by the obstetricians. Developed acute airway obstruction at home, taken to ED where she had a cardiopulmonary arrest. She was resuscitated but died in ITU 10 days later.

The child was intubated by paramedics. A diagnosis of upper airway compromise due to laryngeal papillomata was made in ITU days later during changing of the endotracheal tube.
