    Recommended guidelines for uniform reporting of data from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest: the ‘Utstein style’ was approved by the European Resuscitation Council in January 1991, and the American Heart Association SAC/Steering Committee on February 13, 1991. It has also been approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Australian Resuscitation Council.

    This report is also being published in the August 1991 issues of Circulation and Annuls of Emergency Medicine, as well as in German translations for Notfallmedizin and lntensivmedizin and Notfallmedizicin.
