    After reading this article (1) I can't help but become apprehensive about my accident & emergency department placement in my final year of medical school. My previous experience in the A&E department consisted mainly of seeing patients in the 'minors' area, where the patients were (hopefully) less sick and I was less likely to get in the way of the medical staff.
