    Treatment of jellyfish stings in the UK should have specific aims

    In a recent Best Evidence Report in this journal dissatisfaction with cited knowledge of jellyfish sting therapy was mentioned (1). In fact, there is good data on the subject if we carefully define what is treated. Three goals of care for the envenomated patient exist.
