A short cut review was carried out to establish whether there are any published minimum toxic concentrations for tricyclic drugs taken in accidental overdose. A total of 578 papers met the search criteria. One was an evidence based guideline, which provided evidence to answer the question. The author, date and country of publication, study type, relevant outcomes, results and study weaknesses are presented in table 3.
