    Introduction

    This study compared the minor injuries care provided by extended scope physiotherapists (ESPs) and emergency nurse practitioners (ENPs) with routine treatment by doctors (of all grades) in emergency departments. It focused specifically on acute peripheral musculoskeletal soft tissue injuries and aimed to compare clinical outcomes and cost effectiveness in the first 8 weeks of injury.
