Abstract

There are a number of compelling reasons why some accident and emergency (A&E) doctors may also wish to train in intensive care medicine (ICM). This article reviews and discusses the benefits and practicalities of dual A&E/ICM training from a trainee's perspective. It should be read in conjunction with: Shelly MP.
