Three papers presented the best evidence to answer the clinical question. The author, date and country of publication, patient group studied, study type, relevant outcomes, results and study weaknesses of these papers are tabulated. It is concluded that high-flow nasal oxygen has a role in the management of bronchiolitis and may reduce the need for escalation of therapy with patients with bronchiolitis under the age of 1 year.
