 BiochemistryElectrolytes (sodium and potassium), renal function (urea and creatinine) and liver function (bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, albumin, aspartate transaminase, alanine transaminase, gamma glutamyl transferase and lactate dehydrogenase).
 Iron studiesSerum iron, transferrin saturation index and ferritin.
 OtherAdditional acute phase response markers including C-reactive protein and procalcitonin.
Therapeutics including
 Oxygen deliveryFractional inspired oxygen (from 21% (room air) to 100%) and delivery method (nasal cannulae, face mask and type, other).
 Ventilatory supportContinuous positive airway pressure and invasive ventilation. Ventilation pressures and volumes, positive end-expiratory pressure.
 Circulatory supportIncluding norepinephrine and renal replacement therapies.
